The band \u2018\u2019Eran\u2019\u2019 is a friends gathering to play music.<\/p>\n
ERAN MEANS TO LOVE… Eran means to fall in love, to love deeply.
\n It is actually the infinitive of the ancient Greek verb\u2018\u2019\u03b5\u03c1\u03ac\u03c9-\u03ce \u2018\u2019(erao – ero ) which means \u2018\u2019love\u2019\u2019 and it has always been hidden in the magic word \u2018\u2019\u03ad\u03c1\u03c9\u03c4\u03b1\u03c2 \u2018\u2019 (erotas:love). The band \u2018\u2019Eran\u2019\u2019 more than a decade now, through love as its compass and marvelous melodies of our rich music tradition as its boat, attempts musical trips in space and in time by means of voice, a lyre, a lute and the rhythmical beats of a tabor resembling heartbeat. They aim to take each one of us on a trip commending love and the magnitude of human soul by means of songs deeply rooted in our heart, whose history is so long back in previous centuries, almost lost in time.<\/p>\n
There are two representative cd\u2019s of Eran available in the market and on spotify, \u2018\u2019Painting of a dream\u2019\u2019 and \u2018\u2019Wish I were a bird and fly\u2019\u2019.<\/p>\n
They move around traditional music starting from Crete, of course, without setting aside the rest of the Greek islands and eastern melodies of Minor Asia.<\/p>\n
The band \u2018\u2019Eran\u2019\u2019 have their own unique color and sound.<\/p>\n
