Folk Sacred Music from Crete

Traditionally, one of the festival’s concerts is dedicated to folk sacred music from different regions of the former Byzantine Empire (Asia Minor, Cyprus, Thrace, Constantinople, etc.). This year, we invite you to experience the rich musical heritage of Crete, presented by the authentic ensemble Eran. The program will include traditional religious music, love songs, and modal improvisations.
